About Me I love the rain and forever wish to smell wet earth and chimny fires and the clean smell of my children. Acrylic paint and fine pens fill my fancy. I love japanese inspired stationary, trolly cars, old glass bottles, dried herbs, miss matched buttons, hurricane glass oil lamps burning, bumble bees that I wish to raise one day, steam trains, every species of trees, the sound of leaves falling, fairie circles, brownies and tree spirits. Pirates that are loud and pistols and books. Libraries and bells, celtic traditions, native american beliefs, history. Feet naked in the dirt or sand, the smell of snow, rivers and wine. I love it that we are all different and have our own cultures and languages.

Music Fugazi, Tool, Weezer, Joni Mitchel, Neil Young, Alison Kraus and Union Station, Crosby Stills and Nash. I love Lorena McKennit.Jewel, Blue Stone, Tori Amos,Bjork, Blind Melon, Sarah McLaughlin, Nickle Creek, Buddah Bar, Puntimayo albums, Morgan and the Hidden Hands, Spiroband, Vulcanizadora, Mazzy Star, Drugstore, Cowboys Junkies, I love classical music; favorite composer is Vivaldi. I love world music and I love this cd called Wizard Women of the North.. Heart, Jimmy Hendrix, Neil Young (wish I was a cinnamon girl), Bob Dylan, THE BEATLES!!!, The Doors, Rush; I could go on but I think you get the point!

Movies All Hayao Miyazaki films, Pride and Predudice, Amelie, Room with a View, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Pirates of the Carribbean, Lord of the Rings. Narnia. Don't watch many movies.

TV say no to television

Books I am reading the forth book in a series by Dianna Gabaldon; The Poisonwood Bible, Alexander McCall Smith's series of The Ladies #1 Detective Agency.Sick Puppy, Secret Life of Bees, anything by Joanne Harris & Harry Potter series and now i am reading Collete. I am a fiend for books and I find it is the onlt private thing I can do while attending to my children Reading and Bestfeeding work out nicely!

Likes Authenticity, watching my children play in utter happiness, star gazing, great wine, learning new skills, mountains, the smell of the desert at night, drums echoing in the distance

Dislikes Popular culture

Hobbies Well I'm a single mom so I don't have many hobbies to entertain presently. But: sewing costumes for my wee fiends, cooking, playing in the garden, hiking and strolling in the wild. Painting and beading. Sailing

Vices A natural zesty desire to be a bit naughty sometimes.

Virtues Honesty and virtuous. I'm a pretty nice person and very loyal.

Heroes What is a hero, none of mine wear capes for fighting crime. I think everyone is a hero if they just believe they can make their lives better. Heroes to me are single moms, or anyone who has lost someone and has the courage to continue living, Heroes to me are those who try to make the world a better place.

I am so excited that it is spring and the faire is almost here! I am lucky to be close to a few faires so hopefully I will be able to go to them all and have a great time. Hope everyone else has a great time at faire this year.

Hazzah! I am so happy fall is here at last bring with it All Hallows Eve and of course the Escondido Ren Faire! For those of you who may not have attended this faire before, this would be a wonderful chance to come and check it out. Felicitia Park is very beautiful with many trees and mysterious places is explore. This faire is awesome because it is cozy and small. I can't wait to go. Hope to see you all there! The weekends are Oct. 27 & 28 and Nov. 3 & 4. Cheers!
